Terms of service
The short version of how we work. By signing up you agree to these terms.
Last updated: October 28, 2026.
Scope
Cartiam VM (Carlos Villafuerte, Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico) provides a bilingual AI intake assistant for law firms. What is included is what the pricing section of this site and your written order say.
Payments
- US$397 per month, including 400 minutes. Extra minutes are US$0.60 each.
- Setup is US$1,000, one time, unless we agree on founding-firm pricing in writing.
- Monthly fees are paid in advance. If a payment is missed, we may pause the service until it is brought up to date.
Ownership
Your data is yours: your firm's information, your callers' information and the summaries. The system is ours: the software, prompts, workflows and configurations. You may use it for your firm while your service is active.
What the AI does not do
The assistant discloses that it is an AI and that calls may be recorded. It does not give legal advice, does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not accept engagements: the attorney approves every engagement. It can make mistakes, so attorneys should review every summary. You are responsible for complying with the rules that apply to your practice, including call-recording and advertising rules in your state.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for outages of third-party services we do not control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, and disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Monterrey, Nuevo León. If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page with its date.
